Little Green Thumbs

"The natural play spaces encourage the kids to explore and learn about the environment and the effect they have on it. The kids love looking after their vegetable garden."

A shared role in protecting our environment

Sustainable practices are embedded in our daily routine, enabling our children to care for and learn from the land. Our vegetable gardens, worm farms, recycling swap station, and composting systems are establishing a connectedness to a sustainable future. Our meals often include produce that we harvest from our own vegetable garden, involving children in a sensory and sustainable experience.

Natural and recycled materials are used widely at our centres to promote wonder, curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Our children participate in Green Dates such as Earth Day and Clean Up Australia Day to encourage an understanding of their roles as socially responsible individuals who are connected with their community and the world around them.
