What is the daily fee?
The daily fee for the 2023/24 financial year for all age groups is $157 per day – commences July 2023.

What are the fees to secure a position?
A bond payment which is equivalent to one weeks’ full fees based on enrolled days per child is required within 48 hours of accepting a placement.

Are there a minimum number of days I need to enroll?
Yes, our centres have a minimum two days per week policy.

What do parents need to supply?
– Five labelled nappies or pull-ups per day if required
– 2-5 year olds need to provide a fitted cot sheet and top sheet
– Formula, breast milk or soy milk if required
– A change of clothes/weather appropriate clothing
– Comforter such as dummy, blanket as appropriate
– Sun hat

What are your operating hours?
Our centres are open from 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks of the year.
We are closed on Public Holidays. Fees are not payable on these days.

If I am away, do I still have to pay?
Yes, fees are payable for every day your child is enrolled at the Centre, regardless of absence due to illness or holidays.

Can I claim Child Care Subsidy?
Victoria Avenue and Wellbank Children’s Centre are approved childcare service. Child Care Subsidy is available for eligible families as assessed by the Department of Human Services. For further information, visit www.humanservices.gov.au or call 13 61 50.

How long will I have to wait for a position?
Due to the unpredictable nature of long day care waiting lists, we cannot provide estimated times of when positions will be offered or make guarantees that a placement will be available when you require care. Formal offers for January positions are offered in November. Should a position become available at other times of the year, the centre will contact applicants two weeks prior to make an offer of placement.

What are the staff qualifications?
Our centres employ university trained early childhood teachers, diploma trained educators and certificate III trained educators. Each centre also employs a dedicated cook, an administration assistant and centre coordinator.
